The first coffee roasting shop started in the old Eminonu Market in Istanbul.

What is the difference between Turkish and Ottoman coffee?
Coffee bears the same name, but since some roasters began during the Ottoman Empire, the name stuck to the coffee they produced. As for the difference, there is no difference at all.
